Remember the Barack Obama who promised to bring “fundamental change” to Washington DC as a candidate and as the 44th President of the United States? That’s right, the same guy who ran on nothing specific in 2008 but ‘Hope and Change you can believe in America.’ Yesterday during a Univision town hall Q and A Obama revealed what many believe to be the center-stone of his failed presidency: He told Univision “I’ve learned you can’t change Washington from the inside.”
Mitt Romney quickly responded to this admission of failure by Obama saying “the President has thrown in the white flag of surrender” to a crowd in Sarasota, FL and the RNC produced this web ad out first thing Friday morning. It’s a simple proposition, any elected official is trusted to represent his or her constituency and effect change within the body or position that politician is elected to. Since Obama, who has promised America positive change on so many fronts for over four years, has come to the conclusion he can’t make good from the inside why should voters give him four more years do nothing but be President in name only?
Amateur hour is over, it’s time for Obama to go.
