This was must see tv last night. I know I haven't been blogging much lately, real job keeping me very busy, but if you've ever read my stuff when I was full tilt boogie during the Presidential election you would know I'm not a big fan of Bill O'Reilly. I think he is a loud mouthed blowhard that is lucky beyond belief to occupy the time slot he does on FNC that made him rich and famous. It's not that it's a shocker, all conservatives know how addicted to taxes and other people's money liberals are, it's that Obama continues to broadcast and in most cases get away with chipping at every liberty Americans have held dear, the very liberties that made us great. I have been at times hard on Rush because I believe a lot of what he does is more for entertainment value, appealing to the least among us which always comes in larger numbers giving El-Rushbo a huge market thereby commanding platinum level advertising rates on his mammoth EIB Network. I was specifically hard on Rush when he made Sandra Fluke famous, I said the day he called her a "slut" she would become a household name. First, the Soul Train awards still exist? I know Jamie Foxx is a comedian and was likely using his "comedic license" to have a little fun, after all, if you are a comedian you can get away with saying anything. Just ask Bill Maher and all the women he has called the "c" word and any number of misogynistic names, Maher is a comedian so calling women the "c" word is funny. Don't you get it? For me, it wasn't Foxx's calling Obama "our Lord and Savior" schtick that was noteworthy, it was the audience response to what he said that is telling. Did anyone hear a gasp?
